Really pleased with the headset. Fast delivery too. Thank you
I was very sceptical to buy these considering aeration is a new company so ended up buying a PS1 and a more well known brand. Flown about 5 hours with both and myself and my passengers preferred the Noise cancelling and operation of aeration. Can't believe they were £300 cheaper! would like to see of they compare on longer flight as clamping force is a little higher than the latter
I started flying in 1965 on Chipmunks. Since then I have flown a large variety of aircraft form Multi-engined down to Instructing on Flex-wing microlights. My old faithful ( named brand) passive headset of 35 years was becoming tired so I needed to replace it. Given my own continued expectancy in flying being limited I didnt wan’t to spend £ 1,000 s. I decided to try a new fangled noise cancelling headset . As I was taught to fly using stick , rudder , and Dalton computer ,electronics are a mystery to me. I put on my new Aerotion headset whilst a business jet was starting up next to me on the stand. What a revelation when I switched it on - it completely removed the jet noise. Comms with Tower and radar were much clearer . It is extremely comfortable and for such a competitively priced product I cannot recommend it highly enough. I think I will wear it all the time around the house in order to cancel out my wife’s complaints about the time I spend flying !!
Excellent value & quality. Thanks. A user manual or some specifications would have been nice, perhaps with a spares list, but a minor point.
It should come as no surprise that these do not perform as well as Bose A20's, but having worn both headsets, the Aerotion Aviation - AS1 Active Aviation Headset is so close to the Bose ones that some would not easily tell the difference. Now, Aerotion sub £300, Bose well over £1,000, let me think 🤔. If you just MUST have the Bose name then go buy them, but if you want a darned good headset that performs exceptionally well with ANR that does everything you could want, with an aux input for phone/tablets running sky demon, then buy these. You will not be disappointed. I thought they couldn't be nearly as good as they are at this price but I won't buy anything else now when I need more. Oh, plus of course, the guy in the right hand seat said the sound was clear as a bell !
Only used for one flight but overall very happy
Not much more to add. Great value headset with excellent build quality and superb performance. I will recommend this headset to all my students and flying friends
Test flight in 152 15 Feb.
Very happy so far.
Great headset - very comfy and very light, just what you need without breaking the bank.
Excellent headset and high quality never see before
I was going to purchase a Bose A20 for my wife as I use Bose A20, but I was introduced to this headset. It has noise cancelling and also an input if you want to listen to music.
As my wife is the passenger and does not fly with me all the time I am glad I bought this more cost-effective headset, then spending all the money on a Bose which she would use now and then.
She says they are very lightweight, clear and she can hear everything that is going on.
I would recommend to anyone who does not want to spend the price tag on a Bose or David Clark.
As a student I researched a lot of headsets. Glad I picked the AS1. I have this headset 8 months. A very good headset. Noise cancellation is great, probably not as good as my Bose QC15s but definitely not far off. Great value. Good response from the mic although I find it needs to be up against my mouth for best performance. Comfortable to wear, I mostly forget it is on. Would 100% recommend.
I'm delighted with the PS2 headset - it is so light, looks very stylish and has excellent noise reduction in use. An excellent headset at a very keen price. Fast delivery from Aerotion and it's nice to be able to support a UK company.
